We participated in the Earth Week Programme at the Keppel Club. There was introduction about the Kampong life. The villagers recycle and reuse, eg. make toys, cages, fertilisers. We were also been introduced the importance of energy and water saving. On the hallway, we saw recycled bottles into beautiful lamps, boxes for exhibits, water converting to energy for cars, recycled ways to purify water. We liked the lifestyle in Satoyama, which encourages recycling and conserving.
